*Travel Tip: We stayed at Mali Namphu guesthouse near Nam Phou fountain. Rooms were 200,000 kip/night (includes breakfast). JOMA is just right around the corner and our chosen breakfast spot. Travel @ Lao, on the same street as our hotel, had the best prices for buses going North and South, free wifi, free information, and they were super helpful and nice. To best explore the city rent a bicycle for 10,000 kip/day. We also secured our Cambodian visas while in Vientiene and we describe the process here.
